Assistant Director for Policy, Covid-19 Economic Recovery Project

The Center for New York City Affairs (CNYCA) at The New School/Milano is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Director for Policy at the Center’s Covid-19 Economic Recovery Project. This full-time position manages policy research and development, student research assistants, and organizational partnerships.

The Covid-19 Economic Recovery Project analyzes the unique nature of the NYC worker and business dislocations created by the pandemic and develops innovative, actionable policy responses needed in the pandemic’s wake and that address structural issues undergirding racial and economic disparities in the labor market. Graduate degree in the socialsciences  or public policy, and at least two years’ experience in a position combining research and policy. The position reports to James Parrott, the Center’s Director for Fiscal and Economic Policy.
